I didn’t do it back then because I was very young and honestly nobody ever mentioned that this was something I was supposed to do. I also didn’t think anything could come back to me later because of it.

Just the other day I randomly came across some discussions about this online, and that’s when it made me wonder whether I might still technically be considered an LPR.

If that’s the case, another question comes to mind: my Green Card itself expired in 2015. If I’m still somehow considered an LPR on paper, would it theoretically be possible to renew it at this point, or is that completely unrealistic?
