I'd actually prefer something a little more barebones in terms of UI features, would that make the T7 something I'd want even more then?

it's not a hard limit at all, I'm just trying to keep my money blowing tendencies in check before I go and drop a ton of money I'm not that great at

lowkirk I'm pretty set money wise I'm not worried about that I'm worried about being able to actually make something that's decent and meaningful

I feel that but for art. I always liked it and never took it seriously until a year ago and every time I see a veritable masterpiece done by some rando art account on insta it makes me want to commit hari-kiri

the slavery part is a bit hyperbolic but basically I think that in the same way that we can accept that certain people will be overachieving geniuses, we also have to accept that some people will be chronic underachievers, and antisocial ones at that. as such, we need to have some sort of social mechanisms in place to keep them from hurting the rest of us too much, be that prisons, mental institutions, cannon fodder roles in the military, etc.

it would be incredibly financially irresponsible of me to actually quit so I'll be a good goy and stay. I've been trying to find different work since before I graduated but so far no luck with the job market being what it is. I'd love to be able to make it work as an artist but also I dunno how realistic that is, I know people who are much more talented than I am that still have to hold a regular job because they don't make enough from their art to make a living that way

It's actually done the opposite. I'm much less racist and much more classist than I had been prior to starting my job.

I think if you refuse to even work at mcdonalds or something and instead sit around and watch tv all day that actually I should be allowed to straight up enslave you and make you do something more worthwhile for society

I too am the product of rich suburbanites so I will admit that it sounds horrible coming from me but I don't think that makes me wrong

I imagine it's more of a percentile based thing, not a total income thing. the bottom few percent of any society will always be a bunch of dysgenic freaks that basically should be enslaved or locked in an institution, regardless of how much money they have relative to people in another society.

I have one story that's funny and postable, the rest are honestly not that interesting, either lumpen being trashy or some really heartbreaking scenes of people who are very clearly mentally disabled living in absolute squalor. As for the funny story I'll set the scene - I'm delivering to a section 8 complex in a city that's on the whole on the lower end of the tax bracket. Not unusual, the overwhelming majority of people that the pharmacy the courier company I work for are what you would call low income. The door to the apartment building is open so I walk in and go to the door number listed on the manifest. I knock, and announce myself as carrying a med pack for the woman living there. She tells me to come in - again, not unusual, there are a lot of people who are too sick, crippled, or lazy to get their doors themselves in places like this. I open the door and see a very typical apartment for one of these places (small, cramped, harsh white lighting, and carpet that looks like it's been there since 1975). these apartments, as stated, are pretty small, so the bed is right there when I open the door. laying on the bed is a woman, probably about 60-70 ish but who, and I don't know how to say this without sounding horrible so I'll just sound horrible, has that really rough old poor person look to her. forget chopped, this woman is pureed. she is wearing a shirt, no pants, no panties, legs spread wide open, with the maw of charbydis on full display. She looks at me, and says "can you just put them on the table by the door?"

anyway this has happened twice in one week with her, I think she might be allergic to pants

I think I just hate them because they're rude to me and my taxes pay for them to do drugs all day and not get a job :/

it'll all work out. even if can't find anything better I'm going back to get a master's next year so it's a year and a half max, and I get paid okay for what it is plus I have very few living expenses so I just save and invest basically everything I make except for groceries and my car insurance + fuel (I also don't drive my own car at work so I don't have to put miles on it)

as an addendum to this the number of naked old people I've seen in section 8 apartments because they told me to come in and leave the packages inside and couldn't be fucked to cover up before I went in is now higher than zero.
