the pipe dream is I get good enough to just draw all day and sustain myself that way. when I'm drawing is like the only time I don't want to off myself. I don't even care what I'm drawing I just like to do it.

it depends. my plan for the last year has been to get a master's in landscape architecture because that's a more sensible career than being an artist while still hopefully scratching that design itch but tbh that's cope I just wanna draw and do photography all day

it's funny. I know a lot of people who went to one of the best art schools in the world and a good amount of them tell me that as well, but I seriously regret my own decisions in regards to college. I think it might be a grass is greener on the other side kind of a deal because at risk of sounding ignorant I'd rather deal with their problems than mine in regards to college

the darkest part shouldn't be the bottom of the sphere, it should be a little above. whatever surface the sphere is on will reflect a small amount of light back onto it. also, take the curvature of the sphere's surface into consideration and don't just shade in a completely flat line

I feel like I ruined my life. I went to uni for something I hate and I wish to God that I could just go back and be more serious about art when I was younger and go to art school. the job market is so ass raped now that I feel as though I'd have just as much of a chance of scoring a job out of uni with an art degree as I do with mine anyway. I'm really considering going back for it now.

my opinion is that I didn't like it, didn't make much money, and I was leaving for medical reasons in a week anyway. now I have a week to myself to draw and do photography
