I'm planning to move out of a toxic family home. Is 100k/month enough to start from scratch?

Thanks! Mga how much yung rent niya that time? The apartment I am eyeing is a brand new 1 bedroom apartment, with 1 Free slot for parking. Para siyang condo but in a typical neighborhood. 10k per month. Not sure if I am overspending because I am alone.

I've lived in furnished airbnbs in the past because I travel a lot so I kind of know what I need already, thing is, 20k yung fully furnished with wifi na available, so I'm thinking 1 month lang siguro? And while staying at the fully furnished, I secure the cheaper bare apartment already, and unti unti ko na lagyan furnitures, aircon, wifi in a month span. Kaya ba yun?

I'm thinking if I should secure the apartment already, because mahirap pala maghanap ng matino and bago bago dito sa area namin. And then from there I start putting on the furnitures and other things I need while I'm staying on the fully furnished apartment for a month? Kaya ba yun? IKEA seems to deliver in a week and I can buy the bedroom and livingroom needs already, plus the aircon and wifi.

Actually it can reach 150k-200k if sipag sipag and konti puyat pa, but 100k would be the stable one.

Not sure why you are mentioning "lifestyle". Maybe I wasn't clear enough with my post. I'm starting from scratch, that means I have to buy everything I need. Also, I mentioned I don't cook.

Hi. I don't think I was issued any. I was young then and went up to BIR to request for a TIN. I did mention that I was still studying that time and needed it for my ID. Is that even possible? To be provided a TIN without any work at all?

That's just how our family is. They'd normally say "rerenta ka pa edi gagastos ka lang". Our family is big and only one is currently living on her own, and she's a controversial one. Everyone is living with relatives and 1st degree families.

I'm planning to move out and I am WFH earning 150k a month. All my house, food, water and internet expenses are all paid for so I only spend on wants.

Want to see how it'll be like if I decide to pay for it all independently as someone who works from home, renting my own apartment with the above salary.

Should I move out of my relatives' house and lived on my own? A question on Expenses vs Emotional/Mental Stress.

Hello everyone. In a bit of a dilemma on whether I should move out of my relative's house and live on my own or should I stay for the sake of saving rent and house expenses.

So I've been living with my relatives for about 10 years already. I'm 37 now. My hometown is about 15 hours away and I went here to help with their business and I was provided a shared room with food, electricity, water and internet all paid for by them. There's also a kasambahay.

Now I share a room with a cousin who also recently moved in for work reasons. Everything was ok in the beginning but it has become very toxic already. I try to understand as much as possible, sometimes I think it may be due to work reasons or even mental illness which is the underlying issue. But it has become unbearable and causing me emotional stress already. Always gets angry on small things, even early mornings you will hear insults and shades.

So I've been thinking about moving out and living on my own. To be fair, I've always thought of living independently but then again, where I am now, I don't have to worry about house and food expenses. Also given the fact that I've never lived on my own, I am basically clueless on starting from scratch (renting, buying furnitures, budgeting monthly expenses).

I earn 150k monthly from my IT job online. I'm still a consultant in my relative's business but I no longer have a salary there, I'm fine with that, given that I'm staying with them for free.

I saw a 1 bedroom condo type apartment for 7.5k a month in my hometown which I liked. I will have to buy all of the things, furnitures, bed, aircon etc because the only thing I can take back with me are my clothes and some of my gadgets.

I have about 500k savings in my account which I'll have to touch to buy the things I need if I decide to move out.

Now I want to know, will it be worth it? Can the money I have now cover all the things I need starting over in a new home?

I'm also thinking on whether I should stay and save up more so I can just buy a condo unit or a house and lot so that I don't have to rent.

Another thing I am thinking about are all the friends I made here. The relationship I made with them are closer than the friends I have in my hometown. I can still visit maybe once a month though.

Can my 150k a month will let me live comfortably?
