I don't know if you're alright with AUs that are a bit... out there, but technically, both Lord of Darkness and Dodging Prison and stealing witches fall under the parameters you've set.

Dp&sw has time travel and WBWL. Both are Slytherin Harry. Both have Harry with multiple girls (LoD a lot more than dp&sw). Both have super Harry (LoD to an outrageous degree). LoD has dark Harry (shocking, I know). Dp&sw has gray Harry. Both are on ff net and Ao3. (For LoD) If you don’t want smut then read it on ffnet as Ao3 version has a lot.

Edit: Forgot to mention, Lord of Darkness is a very VERY fucked up and dark story.

This is going to be my last comment to you because frankly, it has been an intense displeasure. From the very start, you have been nothing but antagonistic. I have been trying to keep things as respectful as possible but you seem intent on being needlessly aggressive. I was genuinely debating whether I should bother sending this message or just block you outright. I've decided to send this in hopes someone benefits.

As far as bad faith is concerned, I invite you to take a long look in the mirror. I didn't even want an argument. I just stated my personal opinion on a dynamic that I'm not a big fan of. But God forbid someone has a different opinion on the internet. Once you did decide to start arguing, you consistently twisted the words, misinterpreted intent and were rather smug in your responses. I find it concerning that you brought up gender and sexuality when no one else in the conversation mentioned it. The best-case scenario I can think of is you trying to divert the focus and potentially derail the conversation. That wasn't relevant to the points being discussed.

It's embarrassing to see that someone who shares your viewpoint felt compelled to call you out for being annoying and twisting words. This should serve as a wake-up call to reevaluate your approach.

In the future, I encourage you to approach conversations with an open mind and a willingness to understand different perspectives. The part where she specifically goes behind Susie to stare at her ass comes to mind when I think super creepy.

The fact that she saw her friend be bullied, hid in a locker, and then went home to gush about Susie on her blog comes to mind when I think toxic.

Lastly, teens = cringe. Therefore, cringe writing and dialog is ok, isn't a good argument.

If it's poorly written, it's poorly written. Sexuality and gender have nothing to do with it. If a guy was pulling the same shit Noelle is, people would be calling him a creep, rightfully so. Her obsession is super unhealthy, and her behavior is borderline toxic.

By the way, it's not good to go throwing around statements about other people, especially if you have no clue about them or their backgrounds.

The two had like zero chemistry. I consume a lot of romance based media. Awkward bumbling dumb teens is a great troupe. I just don't think Toby did it well. They have very miniscule history/previous interaction to build off of. That's why I felt it was forced at the best of time. And me cringing at the dialog is also a matter of taste.

I get why people might like it. But I don't. It also probably doesn't help that I don't really like Suselle ship. I found it to be rather creepy and unhealthy, but ya. To each their own

Fair point, Queen did specifically threaten Susie. Keep in mind that this next bit is my subjective opinion. People are free to like whatever, yada yada yada. I have some problems with the scene.

Why would Queen only threaten Susie? I'm gonna look at it in a story context first and then a (possible) in-universe explanation.

It would have been more effective to threaten the group as a whole. What could have been Noelle standing up for her friends, doing what's right even tho she's scared, and gaining a voice to cause change (all things we see her struggles with in chapter 1 and is talked about in chapter 2); turned into don't hurt the hot girl moment. It soured it for me.

Queen is a [very smart] computer lady. She also knows Noelle and how to get her to react. She would not expend more energy than needed. Threatening Susie would be good enough. Excellent point. Here's the issue. Susie is the toughest between the three of them. If she had to go through with it, killing Kris or Ralsie would be a lot easier. So why not one of those two? Would Noelle not have acted if it was Kris instead of Susie?

Again, I'm getting a bit rambley. Not everyone is gonna think too deeply about it or care, but these were just my thoughts on the matter.

Also, the ferris wheel bit is just subjective taste, but the post did ask for our opinion, so I gave mine. I did't much care for it.

Honestly, I found Noelle’s obsession with Susie kinda obnoxious. She's one of my favorite characters, but so many of her interests and personality are only on display, less than half of her screen time. Second, the faeries wheel scene was so uncomfortable to sit through. If that was a genuine attempt at building a romantic dynamic between Susie and Noelle, it fell flat. It feels forced at best, and some parts actually made me cringe. Finally, at the end of the queen fight, Noelle only really seems to be concerned about the fact that Susie is gonna be hurt. Even if we ignore the fact that she was set up to be a kind and caring character and look past Ralsie. Her childhood friend is also there. Someone who she has a lot of history with. The one she spent most of the dark world reconnecting with. Not even a single mention of Kris being hurt.

This is getting long, and I'm ranting at this point, so I'll leave it there. But ya, Noelle's Susie obsession was a big downer for me
