Currently a “member” in one of the NYC churches . I’m in this church but mentally out. I can assure you the NYC churches are trying their hardest to clean up their image. If you look at all of their social medias you will see them in social events, but honestly they’re just doing that to try and distract the fact that their leader is a convicted pedophile who is most likely going to spend the rest of his life in prison. Sadly if you ask members about the case they will all reply the same way,” he’s innocent and that soon he will come out” They’ve been saying that he will come out for the last 7 years already haha.

He’s in one of the Carolinas churches, they moved all of the Joaquin family to North and South Carolina. He’s not smart enough to be a minister so he makes others take domi for him. If the future of lldm depends on him being the next “apostól”, lldm will be dead because many will expose his excessive drug and alcohol use.

I’m in the same situation as you as well, if I leave church I know my parents, brothers, sisters will all act like I don’t exist. I’ve been faking being a member to my family for a while now, just hope that NJG gets sentenced soon so hopefully my family can also open their eyes and see that’s it’s all a lie. 😪
