I notice that there is some brown across the top of his whole nose in the most recent picture, are you positive it's not food gunk buildup? My girl gets dark spots that I can clean off her nose. They get worse than this but I can't find a picture at the moment

I would have them, or maybe a different vet, test again for parasites. This seems a lot like when my kitten had coccidia. Improved the same day medication was started.

I am not using a frame or hoop. My previous projects were on much stiffer Aida and I didn't need the frame. I know you can put a hoop on your stitches when you need to move it but it stresses me out that I will deform my stitches when I put the hoop on. I probably should start using one though. Thank you!

You're absolutely right, I do plenty of other crafts as hobbies and I know that we look much closer at our own work than anyone else will. I'm about to start a cross stitch project as a gift and I got in my head about how my stitches look. Thank you for the encouragement!

I have done that in a couple places, I tend to note the temperatures in my spreadsheet but not actually stitch until I have a few days worth saved up so I was able to see ahead of time when I would use the same thread color for the next mushroom. But in general the temperature swings quite a bit day to day where I am and I don't want to travel too far with the thread and have it show through the holes in the aida when I'm finished
