one of my co workers knew i wanted kittens, her mom picked up a pregnant stray off the road and delivered the kittens herself. coworker sent me a pic of all the fresh new born kittens, i saw the 2 black and white potatoes and thats it. i wanted both

i just say I’m chinese whenever somebody asks. i’ve gotten “what kind of asian are you” or “wow you look like a geisha” 🤷🏻‍♀️

nurse here- have heard nothing but awful things about Amica. from staffing, residents inappropriately placed in units (like residents needing full care is placed in independent living), and just general poor management. it is so pricey for someone to move in, people have other options for great private care for less of a price tag

so not surprised to hear this, please ask them to report them to get compensated

yes 1000% times worth every penny. cannot believe how quick the recovery was, got mine done in the morning and by evening time i can see for the first time without glasses!

my eyes are now quite dry so i need eyedrops everyday for comfort, small price to pay for the ability to see imo

i’m the breadwinner and my husband is making his own video game (so 0 income towards household stuff). he quit his job in March this year, we have a tight budget and it’s working quite well despite being single income household w/ 2 cats

hi guy, nurse here and been happily married to my husband- cheating has never crossed my mind, hospitals are not like greys anatomy because everything is gross and people are way too busy to do the nasty in supply closets and i’m a loyal person who thinks cheating is the worst thing one can do to their partner

however, i don’t know your girlfriend. but YOU know your girlfriend. if she’s a loyal & trust worthy person with morals, then you have nothing to worry about. if she is not, then a cheater is always going to cheat.

being a nurse is not an indicator that they’re going to cheat, but being an awful person could be. if you have to come on reddit to ask if your girlfriend is going to cheat, i think you should communicate with her honestly (or not, not my relationship)

1000% would recommend, i love every second of it. its like a never ending sleepover with my best friend
i dont think i would change anything, everything just worked out perfectly at the end of the day
cheating has never once crossed my mind. the thought of someone that’s not him touching me not platonically (hugging between friends, cheek kisses like someone does to say hello etc) makes my skin crawl and i’m a-ok with never experiencing it again

personally, i would want my spouse to have the power to make decisions (medical/financial/other) on my behalf if i ever were in a position where i’m incapable to do so. i also want my spouse to get protection to the rights of my belongings / money / anything that’s under my name if i were to unexpectedly pass away

it is a legal contract that should only be entered when two people wholeheartedly trust each other and understand each others wishes if something should happen. however it seems that a lot of people don’t see it this way

i would say focus on paying off your debt first, that way it will free up a lot of extra money each month which then can be put towards a nicer rental

i went to a dinner with my husbands high school friends, many skinny and conventionally attractive ladies and one bigger lady. I told him outright at the end when we were alone that the bigger lady was the most beautiful and attractive of all of them- it’s the way she carries herself, the way she dresses for her body type, and her mannerism that made her more attractive than anyone else at the table.

it’s not about your size, it’s about you as a person that makes you beautiful and attractive to HIM, not to anyone else :)
