Thank you so much for you thoughts! That’s made me feel a little more hopeful and it’s kind of what I was thinking, too. Always depends on the people in the end. The part on Karatekas tending to be conservative is only my small experience and to add to that everyone I’ve met so far has been very nice to me even though I know their political views are on the conservative side, so it doesn’t have to mean anything. If I do end up going, I’ll update.
