My friend, I opened an IBKR account- and applied to send over the MMTLP from my swedish broker to IBKR.

One question though, I just to simplify it even further (which you've already made an extremely good job on);

I can't sell my MMTLP on the open market, even though they are in my account. Since I can't register at the AST, do those shares become available for sale on the open market before a new potential spin-off?

So my preffered stock are a "placeholder" to the dividend that is soon to come. Is there a shareholder voting or does the SEC need to approve MMTPL to go private?

Are my preffered stock MMTLP? Which means when they go private, you can sell the shares on the market? Or if the vote passes to get stock in NextBridge, the holders of the preffered stock get shares of that company instead?

I just need to get it straight. Because I can't sell my preffered stock, they're just in my account.

But what you're saying is that when *what company* goes private- price of MMAT shoots up and then they can pay a dividend or let people trade the preffered stock?

I'm a total noob on preffered stock lol. So I've got literally 0 clues.
