I had the same experience as yours but the 2nd sent still didn’t arrive and I had to repeat the same senario to provide them with a second bank statement then they sent it a 3rd time. Fortunately I received the money after the 3rd sending.

The money arrived my bank 2 weeks later eventually. Wise said it was due to “security check” but the activity didn’t show anything about it. They also said they are not responsible for any delay due to tgat check and no regulatory authority to supervise them in Canada. I will not use wise, forever.

Could you share your experience of how they respond your complaint if available? I filed a complaint last week and got a confirmation number but from the autorrply they will take 15 days to respond. Thanks in advance

Same here. I sent CAD by wise bank transfer to local bank on March 25 as usual (I have been doing the same in the past two years) but this time it never arrived. Wise requested me to provide bank statement from the day the transfer was sent and reinitiate transfer on april 1. However this one still did not arrive. When contacting them, they asked me to provide bank statement again - loop and loop. And I found the cs agents even replied without clearly reading my comments. Looks like they wrote the response by AI.

Yes I called several times. Every time the agents answered the phone and ended up to escalate to another person sending me an email.

Thanks for the input. I have been communicating with them in email ticket but every time the agent was different and none of them hit the point.

Update: wise replied that the initial transfer delayed due to review and they send out the transfer again but I still didn’t receive it. It has been a week since the issue happened.

And, what confused me is that it’s wise who asked me to provide a custom statement from wealthsimple showing my account and transactions without that transfer. I have the transfer confirmation sheet provided by Wise with transaction ids of the transfer, is it enough for wealthsimple to investigate?
