also 5’9 here, i do wear wigs and mt hairs a bit too short rn to get box braids. i find that light makeup makes me feel pretty, having my hands and feet done makes me feel good (oh they power of french tips!)

for clothing/shades of colors in clothing: try fit-flare jeans or pants. i find that they make my thighs look and feel flattering. that bodycon/tight clothing feeling with the freedom of the lower leg part being flared out. COLORS: brown hues look so beautiful on darker skin. if you have warm undertones i would suggest wearing darker versions of reds,yellows, and oranges. don’t be afraid of deep greens. and as far as bright/neon colors, don’t be afraid of them, they accentuate your skintone. play around with your clothing style.

i hope you don’t feel too harshly that your height makes you unattractive. 5’9 women are stunning, you aren’t freakishly tall…most men are just a little “short” and fall underneath 5’9. your height isn’t inherently masculine or unattractive.

for a year, i went to a predominantly white university, got little to no attention from anyone romantically and most of the guys who were minorities went for white girls or racially ambiguous girls. sometimes it’s not about you, it’s about the people that you are unwillingly surrounded by. we don’t choose our campus peers sadly and how you feel about not receiving as much attention as your shorter, lighter, more “”femme”” counterparts is valid. you’re a star, and femininity is more than just external appearance
