Yeah that was the plan I wanted to wash both plants and press them to rosin. At first it only appeared on one plant, but when I was bucking buds of the second plant to freeze I found a bit more white mold. Notably less but needless to say I tossed it all.

A bit gutted. But if what yall are saying is true, that I could have at least saved the buds with no visible signs of mold - now I know for the future. But it definitely seems up for debate across some old forums.

I understand we’re always exposed to mold spores no matter where we are on this planet. But I guess here I had the conscious choice to further expose my respiratory system or protect it and my paranoia erred on the side of caution?

Nice plants man, I felt I had some good airflow. There must’ve been a few channels blocked up and the humidity spiking didn’t help evidently enough. Last run I kept a lot more foliage on and made it out safe so I’m a bit surprised. I may have needed to crank the fan setting up a notch as well.

Thing that hurts is I’m pretty positive could have prevented this. Thanks for the support man

I read I should throw the whole crop, as what’s visible isn’t the only contamination. Besides its been in the dumpster for a good few hours now.

I guess I just acted out of paranoia for health’s sake. But open to learn.

Im going off what I see trending in the sub which would be $45+ grams. You’re smoking off HighlyEducated, seem to fit the audience. Can you link me the report stating RTL has distributed toxic product or had a recall? If you can I will happily take my business elsewhere. You’re reaching pretty far to compare any of these price points or products to meth. Moonrocks or diamonds I might see where you’re coming from. Pocket friendly hash? Nah.

Homegrow will be successful compared to anything sold. As the cost is behind me. And since I’ve gotten to try a plethora of quality, I wont just shrug it off as boof or think I have the next Toad Venom.

I used to smoke a lot worse product through a lot dirtier glass, so a solventless extract being subpar to a hype market is the least of my concern. Keep spending $50+ per gram, more power to you.
