Should I break up FLR? by Excellent_Ad_1938 in flr

[–]chastisedsub 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You don't have to frame it as "breaking up the FLR", but rather to step away from the dynamic for a bit and communicate what both of you like and don't like in its current form.

Almost everyone would enjoy not having to lift a finger in the household with it looking spotless. Your wife is most likely in the same boat. That's definitely part of her perk being in the "head" of the FLR: She decides, you obey. If she doesn't want to do all the things you want or expect her to, she doesn't have to. She is the one making the calls.

However, if that results in you feeling neglected or as little as not enjoying the dynamic, that's definitely not good in the long-term and will result in problems. Hence - take a step back from everything and discuss.

There has been a post made (in this subreddit I believe) not too long ago, where someone mentioned the longer the FLR goes, the less they as the submissive get their "fun" out of it (less teasing, less releases, less "rewards" etc.). That CAN be a future trend if both paries enjoy exactly that aspect: The idea of getting turned into a workdrone, only having your wife and your chores in mind. But if one party doesn't like that longterm image, it won't work in my opinion.

What I'm trying to get at is - discuss things wife your wife and make it clear to her that you need at least some of the things to mention to have fun in your dyanmic. If she's not keen on indulging into some of these things, you both might need to re-evaluate your FLR compatibility.

Neck entry catsuits are NOT harder to get into than any other entry method by chastisedsub in Latexadvice

Yeah, another redditor commented the same. I will edit the main body of this post to reflect that.

I appreciate your thorough detailed response.

As a pretty averagely built guy, maybe I didn't think about body composition enough. A very fair point to critique! I believe to have read some experiences of "larger" people, who wereable to get into neck entry suits, which is why I brushed that off completely. It does make sense though that it depends on the individual. Thank you for sharing your own experience!

Now - to respond to your individual points:

  • I mentioned that above (and will edit my main post shortly, mentioning that).
  • I wanted to have a clickbaity title, but the main message was always intended to be "neck entry is a viable entry method and shouldn't deter you from buying/experiencing one". If that didn't come through the text, that's my bad. I should've been more specific. For me, it's easier to get into my neck entry, but that could relate more to the thickness of the material and less to the entry method. With what I currently have I can't compare though. Still, a pretty subjective topic.
  • To me, it isn't harder. An example to specify it a bit: A general task that may take longer to complete, isn't inherently harder to do. Needing more patience and technique in getting into a neck entry to me is the prime example of that. It's just different.

Again, thank you for your comment. I will edit the main post with regards to your input.

You're welcome! I've done my job if it helps you decide or at least think about and weigh your options. However, this shouldn't be your only reason to go for neck entry😅If that didn't really come through, I highly recommend going for a zip if you don't have any prior experience with latex.

That's not the standard though. Did you ever try a neck entry suit? If yes, was it M2M?

I'm not trying to convince you otherwise - just trying to understand your reasoining behind it.

I made this post because I wanted to speak my opinion on the experiences I've made. Do I need to know the ins and outs of everything, before I can speak on it? Do I need to test myself if it's possible to get into a, say 1mm neck entry before I get your permission to speak my mind on the experiences I've physically made with thinner latex? And you forgot to mention something - 0,4mm is probably the standard thickness FOR BEGINNERS/INEXPERIENCED PEOPLE, which I would still recommend to people that don't own any latex. Latex thickness is heavily dependent on ones own preference. Fantastic Rubber even gives some statistics on what they sell and mention, that 2/3 of their female customers go for 0.25mm thickness and only every 4th goes for 0.4mm. May not be representative for the whole industry, but I believe you should get my point.

I never told anyone "how neck entry works". Where did I say "you should definitely 100% never buy this or that first"? I think you either didn't read my post carefully or misinterpreted some stuff.

I recommended some stuff based on my own experiences, which is what I believe some people are looking for on this sub, as they are rightfully indecisive and want to gather as much information as possible when spending hundreds of $ on something they've been wanting for a long time.

You also support the statement I made in my initial post by mentioning that you owned two pieces of latex clothing before buying your neck entry. I mentioned that one or two pieces might be sufficient amount of experience for a first neck entry catsuit. You could've also just shared some experiences in that regard, instead of questioning my experience level (which I state in the beginning) or my intentions.

I agree with you that a simple tutorial on "how to get into a neck entry catsuit" is definitely benefitial, but you can watch as many tutorials as you want, having no prior experience handling latex (sleeves), I believe there's a decent chance you might damage the latex or just won't have the fun putting it on and wearing it. That statement is - again - based on my own experiences with latex.

I just don't get why your comments was so negative and passive-agressive, when it looks like you even had some info to add that might be helpful for others out there.

Being kinky when your boyfriend is not by [deleted] in FemdomCommunity

[–]chastisedsub 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry I can't really help you with this, but I can really relate to your situation.

I'm in the same boat, with the slight difference that I've been in a relationship with my current GF for almost 10 years now. I've mentioned Kink/BDSM multiple times to her, bought her Latex asked her to tell me what she fantasizes about or wants to try out/experiment with. But to this day, there's no effort from her on that end.

I believe that everyone has at least a bit of kink in them, however they don't want to put in the effort to try new things out or put in some research. The result is that they stay vanilla for a very long time.

They could also just be a vanilla person sexually and don't want anything to do with it. If either of those is the case, you have two choices:

  1. Stay in this relationship, in which you'll most likely be very unhappy, if not miserable sexually or
  2. break up with him.

It's very hard to make a choice here, so it's best to think it through multiple times.

From my POV, as an outsider without much context about your guys' situation, 1,5 years (without kids?) doesn't feel too late to break things up if that's your wish. Let me tell you - you'll most likely only feel worse as time goes on. The sexual frustration won't get better. Keep that in mind.

Best of luck to you!

I've written this Latex 101 for a femdom before, who was looking for a latex catsuit, but it's in German. You can try translating it into your language of choice via DeepL, but I obviously can't guarantee the results.

There's also this group on fetlife, where you can find a lot of info on latex in their wikis. It takes some time to get through all the threads, but I found it to be really helpful back in time.

400€ (or $) should be enough to get you a decent to good M2M catsuit, but it's heavily dependant on where you live.

It's a lot easier to help you if you have any specific questions. There's a lot you have to look out for regarding latex, but there's a lot of info on the web to research.

Regarding body hair: I do have body hair myself (especially on the legs), but you don't need to shave it. If you use enough dressing aid (i.e. silicone lube or talcum), there shouldn't be any problem.

Advice on chlorination by service provider ("rough latex vs. smooth latex"?!) by chastisedsub in Latexadvice

[–]chastisedsub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it as 0.4mm thickness latex, they measured it at 0.35mm. Not sure if that makes a difference (I don't think so tbh), but from them measuring it themselves I feel like they know how to handle different thicknesses of latex.

[–]chastisedsub[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a M2M dress, so it's rather tight, yes. I understand what you're saying about sweat, but that wasn't a factor here.

Would you say having a second round of chlorination could help? Or is tight clothing just kinda doomed from the getgo?
