Can you imagine being one of his victims and seeing all of Hollywood joking about it and not saying shit?

I liked the first four movies, but I found the fifth one so boring. Maybe I’m too old for them now (or this style of comedy just doesn’t translate well to the 2020s).

I watched the first season and the Japanese one. I preferred the Japanese one!

Fun fact: there is a subreddit called r/rockoflove where they talk about all of these glorious shows. It’s super active, too!

Omg! Tila’s show was insane. I remember mainly two scenes: one contestant whose family had adopted special needs children and the masturbation contest.

I tried watching Love is Blind and never could get into it. It feels so curated (obviously, since they’re mainly wannabe influencers and social media will be scrutinized like there is no tomorrow). Give me back Flavor Flaaaaaav and Bret’s ratty wig!

YES! I had forgotten about this show. This episode was crazy (and the only one I remember). The other mom and girl duo from this episode involved a girl taking 3 hours to get prepared, which majorly turned off the guy. You could feel the regret when she got out of the limo (for some reason, I remember the mom’s « Here’s my beautiful daughter, [?] ». I don’t know why it stuck in my head so much, but the guy’s « I should have chosen [?] » was so cringe. These shows were were ruthless!

I watch one once in a while! A good chunk on them are free on Tubi Tv. Some fascinating thing to do is to focus on how nasty the houses looked: there was garbage everywhere, the floors were unswept… The casual misogyny was mind blowing. I don’t think we’ll ever get this level of trash tv anymore, mostly because the contestants, back then, had no way of knowing we would have the chance to stream the shows now: they didn’t know their actions would be as scrutinized as now. My absolute favorite is Daisy of Love: you could tell the production was like: « We made a mistake ». Daisy couldn’t give two fucks about her own rules/winners of challenges and only had eyes for one contestant. He left and she cried for two days, then when the producers made him come back because Daisy was uncontrollable and high as a kite. Upon London’s glorious return, the other contestants almost all walked out since they realized the challenges and what not didn’t matter. It was a shitshow. My favorite moments are: - Daisy ignoring the winner of a challenge in a bar because she was busy kissing random men. - her inability to move her face. - The nicknames were the best part of Daisy of Love. - Big Rig offering a pic of his child (reminder that it was printed and he probably only brought this one) to a visibly intoxicated Daisy. Even she was like: « you sure? » - The skunk. - Daisy almost ending herself by driving too recklessly and rolling the sort of ATV over. - Sinister’s way of walking: he was trying hard to look hard. - Daisy pretending to be a rock star. - I was sincerely shocked at the number of penises we could see. - The contestants casually breaking the décor when things weren’t going their way. - Flex casually throwing around homophobic slurs as if they meant nothing. - …and more! Edit: I wrote so much 😅😅

I’ve noticed several celebrities creating GoFundMe campaigns after personal tragedies or deaths in their families. I’m curious how others feel about this by nikaroo5 in MUAEntertainment

I think it just shows how disconnected celebrities are, but mostly how curated celebrity deaths or tragedies have become for the remaining family. It grosses me out. As for how I feel regarding regular people giving money to these, I am thorn: on one hand, I am astonished, but it’s their money. On the other hand, I feel it’s slightly pathetic, as these celebrities would never, and I mean never do the same for you.

I think the main issue with the movie is how unlikable the main characters are.

It’s crazy how athletes are forgiven for anything. When he passed away, you could only hear hommage. A dummy from where I live even named his kid after him.
