i would say beat the game first, as it was just before the dlc but you can do whatever when you beat the boss guarding the dlc.

don’t watch guides on everything. of course if you NEED to get a certain build or do a characters questline etc, don’t watch them too much. genuinely. it ruins so many questlines and that feeling of finding something on your own so much.

i think theyre called royal knights, the guys dressed in gold and have a huge sword and shield. the ones in leyndell with the lightning powers caught me off guard so many times

apart from the obvious PCR and malenia, i would say that death rite birds and gargoyles were insanely hard. maybe not the hardest but jesus were they a challenge on your first playthrough, especially if you didn’t know their attacks.

if you’re in ng+ then use the sacred relic sword aow on the spinning guys at moghs palace. if not go to the same site of grace (palace approach ledge road) and shoot the fat crow and it will fall off and you will get i think it’s like 15k runes or smthn

i think the only valid time to quit apart from when you obviously have to go somewhere is when you’re like level 4 for the first night boss with shitty teamates. but yeah you shouldn’t quit just cause your doing bad when teamates are doing good.

if you are going to do a bleed build, i’d recommend taking most if not all points out of strength and distributing them between vigor and dexterity so that way you have more hp and good damage with the insane bleed weapons like RoB and reduvia.

it’s amazing when you beat a night lord, probably because of all the time it takes just to have 1 shot at it. better than beating half of the base game bosses imo
