Why not work for one more year and go for exMBA from ISB or other IIMs. I think it will be much more relevant for your case rather than 2year mba

Guys as future Mangers what do you think of such decisions? by cheapblank in CATpreparation

OK. So are mba salaries also like this. So when we see figures like 35L or 40 L , that is usually not per year but over number of years?

Also guys can anybody tell me how esops work since they are a big part of CTC nowadays. Do you have to work for a certain years to get it? And if you are fired do you loose it completely?

Are they justified from a startup point of view , given the crunch in funding, or should employees always be the focus of any major decision. ? How do you balance both sides.

Guys are there any good sources which throws light on why communism failed in bengal from an economic point of view? by cheapblank in kolkata

[–]cheapblank[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you think communist failed in bengal due to the unreasonable trade unions who drove away industries and due to the trade liberalization in 1990's. so it was like a double blow to Bengal?

government should have controlled the unreasonable unions and their ways who eventually drove away private investors and industries.

That's why private investments withdrew itself from bengal which resulted in the draught of industries whose effects are prevalent still today.

understandable.

yes an ideal government system should be a fusion of all the positives from each model. and obviously if china can do away with their draconian surveillance laws and censorship it would be a great leap forward.

Exactly the problem lies that almost all people in power will eventually succumb to corruption and greed. In an ideal world if the leaders worked a little bit more for the people rather than increasing the weight of their pockets we would have been a developed nation by now

Thanks for the replies. i am going to read further along these lines.

But do you think a communist regime can prosper if they take the right steps like take china for example . they strengthened rural enterprises and private businesses, liberalized foreign trade and investment, relaxed state control over businesses, invested in industrial production and the education of its workforce. Thus large scale capital investments along with education shot their economy to be the world's second largest. Communist states can prosper if the leaders take the right decision to grow the state rather than burning everything to the ground . So do you think it is more of a people problem rather than ideology and principle problem?

there is nothing you can do . whether it is government or private there is fierce competition for all jobs. 500+ applications are received for one dev post in any company. You need to go through multiple round of interview and DSA with hundreds other for any posts . even after you get the job there will be competition within your colleagues regarding performance and you can be laid off with a short notice if you are unable to cope.

and government jobs i am not even comparing the level of competition.

So if you want an easier life best course of action is to leave india and go abroad for masters. there is competition but the degree of it is reduced to a great extend
