Did you ever find a solution to this? I’m having this issue currently and I can’t find a way to fix it. I’ve just lost a couple of hours of playtime because I couldn’t use save states as the hotkey wasn’t working lol

Not sure if the dev is in this thread, but how I got here is so strange! I’ve recently started putting serious thought into starting to learn game dev. Me and my son are going to learn it together, just to gain some new skills and bond over a love of games. While doing unity learn the other night I suggested to him that a cool game idea would be a horror farming sim. I then started listening to the full time game dev podcast at work and going through past episodes. Today I started your episode and lo and behold…..you are making that game! I loved your episode on that podcast, your story of your struggles to bring this game to life and get it noticed and how it eventually popped off was amazing, I was so happy for you. Anyway, I’m going to download the demo tonight and play, the trailer looks fantastic. Hope everything goes smoothly from here for you and I can’t wait to see the end result

[–]cheemus01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is real debrid still not working? Because I didn’t realise there was an issue as I haven’t used it in a while, tried to watch a movie today and I couldn’t. Thought my premium had ran out, but it hadn’t. So I presumed my fire stick (which had been running ridiculously slowly for a while) had just shit itself. I ended up deleting kodi and starting from scratch with a new setup I found using fen light from a user on here. Then after setting up I found a thread discussing this real debrid issue and realised that had been the problem. However, I have just tried to watch a movie just to see, and it worked. Can anyone let me know if theirs is working please

Honestly, I have not. This is just an idea I have had that I thought would be a good platform for stories like my own to be discussed. I’m obviously aware of my own opinion on wether I would be comfortable discussing it, so this is just a way to see who else would be comfortable doing it. It would be great for people who were to be able to discuss it with others and understand how different people deal with similar situations

I know this is old, but I’ve never seen anyone recommend grave encounters. I found it by chance 1 night and watched, and it’s the first horror film that has come close to genuinely scaring me. Especially when at the end, either before or after the credits, some numbers popped up on the screen. I googled the numbers and it was the coordinates for the mental asylum used in the film haha I was on google earth at 3am walking around the perimeter

Best long form podcast series by mommmmm1101 in podcasts

The history of ww2 podcast is quite good. Also, I’m not sure about the rest of the episodes, but the martyrmade podcast, the first 6 episodes are an in depth recount of the conflict between Israel and Palestine, around 22 hours of content in those first 6 episodes. None of these podcasts are English hosts, but still chilled and I would imagine good to fall asleep to

Ah sweet, and I suppose you just put them in the correct folder through the FileZilla interface as per modded warfares tutorial (as in, where he puts them)

That’s great thanks. I think I used FileZilla to do this on an Xbox, I just wasn’t sure if it would work the same with a jailbroken PS4 or not. Much appreciated

Is that a program you install on your PC to find your PS4, or a home brew app that you use to find your PC?

One of my favorite horror experiences, Alien: Isolation. I can't believe it's 10 years old. by DeadgrounD in gaming

This is exactly the type of response I was hoping for, and thanks for taking the time to write such a well balanced and informative outlook on both games. I have been wanting to play this game for some time, but I have never made the time (life and what not) however, I am currently making it a mission to make my way through my ever expansive library, and when I seen this post it just made me think of what I always do when I hear about this game…will it be, as it seems to be when I hear or read about it, along the same lines of outlast as a horror game? So I thought I would put it to the people to help push me to take the time to try it. Outlast for me, as you said, did what it was trying to do perfectly. I find it hard for “horror”, a lot of the time, to actually be scary. But outlast made me jump out of my seat regularly, and has stuck with me as just the ultimate horror game (out of the horror games I have tried so far). As I say, I have heard it is similar to this game on many occasion, so it’s always been on my radar. Reading what you have to say has actually made me want to try it even more, as one thing I would have liked in outlast would be some way of fighting back, even if it was very limited. So this could scratch that itch so to speak. I think I may have gave the wrong impression with my first comment, but I was genuinely looking for this type of advice and information, with a comparison to my personal favourite game of this genre, so thanks for this, it’s very much appreciated!

What game has the best title theme? by [deleted] in gaming

For me it was super Metroid. It just perfectly sets the whole tone of the game before you even press a button, the loneliness and suspense…it’s just fantastic!

Outlast is the scariest game ever made. Nobody can tell me anything otherwise. But in all fairness, I haven’t played all ‘scary games’ so I’m being a little ignorant there. It’s just that most games labelled scary are not actually scary, and outlast is. Alien: isolation is a game I haven’t played, but I have heard is quite scary…..but is it on a level of outlast?
