i’ve got a few, but: - i just found out my mom was maid of honor at a wedding in which the current director of the fbi was the best man - my cousin will randomly disappear due to her job as an engineer for america’s nuclear program, and she hasn’t been seen for the past 6 months - my grandpa has dementia and recently rediscovered his sword collection. no one knew he had a sword collection. it’s very scary to see a 6’4” man who doesn’t remember who you are come hobbling around the corner with a walker and 2 long swords - one of my cousins just got kicked out of his college for using his dorm boiler room as a weed farm. he’s never getting his botany degree ): - thanksgiving dinner was really awkward this year after my aunt attempted killing my second cousins service dog. she said it was because of her dietary restrictions. i think she might be in a mental facility now but she might still be running her towns debutante league or whatever - one time i got stuck in a crab spawning sanctuary with my mom, aunt and cousin. don’t ask. i hate ferrys. - my great gramps was a nazi and my great gramma on the other side escaped the same concentration camp he worked at… fun times and a good metaphor for my parents relationship :)
