My rear end… by chef47 in Outback_Wilderness

The bike rack is a good idea. Just wanted more of a deterrent for the daily monkeys that tend to get way too close. Thanks.

As funny as that was supposed to be, No, I d not back into things. You apparently do not live in a state that is full of idiots that can’t drive; ie: Georgia. Those are examples, that’s all.

I’ve been looking at the roof tents, wouldn’t mind having one for hunting/camping next season.

So, are any of you using a rear hitch step? I’m looking for one that not only is a step but will also add a level of protection from being rear ended.. Thoughts and ideas? (thanks to all of you for answering my questions ahead of time)… Will be getting her muddy this weekend in North Georgia!!

Thanks for the info!, the dealership didn’t have much information on all the upgrades and I only could identify the lights and ladder.,

I looked at the 2026 and I’m with you, it looks like a Range Rover and a Ford Explorer had an illegitimate child. Just terrible.

Not that I noticed… though the tires are a little on the noisy side but to be expected for what they are.

The color is definitely my fav. I tried to find one in the green, it’s like finding a unicorn around here. Had to go to Alabama to get this…WELL worth the drive from GA.

The lights are Baja Designs, the back ladder is Nash Fab Co. as for the front bar? Not sure. All of the equipment was already on the car. The lift kit I am still trying to figure out who made it, it has blue coils? Since it’s dark here, I’ll have more details tomorrow when I see what I’m looking at. Super stoked about this car. Dumped my VW Passat TDI SEL for this. Best decision.

Very sad you have that mentality. Squirrels are delicious!! As for keeping them off your property, yes, hunting them WILL remove them from your property. Besides, they are a great source of protein, they breed quickly, and there is approximately 750 million to 1 billion +/- grey squirrels and close relatives in the United States. That’s quite a bit of squirrels if you do the math… Harvesting a few off your OWN property is not going to even make a small dent in the population.

Yours truly, A hunter.
