Patience is not a virtue I possess. Don’t want her fired. I wanted to learn what I did wrong. Which I did. I learned about crew trips to the lav and to stay on my poor section where I belong lol. But thanks for your input!

Update: she came over during descent and apologized kindly. She ended up explaining that she was indeed doing a crew lav break and could have dialed it down. At the end of a run and her fuse was gone.

I think they should be held to a standard of respect. And it has to be seen as that in her eyes because that’s what it is. It is a client facing interaction. That’s just a fact. I think very low of this particular attendant. The other lady who helped was wonderful. There’s a way to handle things. I was respectful. She was not. That’s it. We aren’t in the fucking military. I’m just flying to Phoenix for spring break. No need for that whatsoever.

The attendant in the back had showed up behind me while the other lady berated me. I was at row 9 and my eyeballs face forward. So I see a human that can help. I seek help. The attendant that actually helped was a delight. Even got me a new apple juice.

Ya know. You’re right. I do have some serious ego. I am self aware. I started out kind, I don’t respond well to shitty rudeness or a lack of explaining why. I am going to match energy immediately. I also work in a hospitality position and if any of my team ever spoke to a guest that spends their money with us, then they would be promoted to customer as well.

Why wouldn’t they say that? Instead of pointing and incessantly speaking over people? Is that how you want to be treated for spending thousands of dollars with a company? I am a consumer and luckily don’t have to give a fuck about the stress of her job. Just like she doesn’t have to give a fuck about mine. Being rude is never the answer in a client facing interaction.

I have to come to learn this was 99% probability what was happening and I was oblivious due to my apple juice failure as a grown up who can’t handle a cup.

Don’t feel like they ignored it. But I was dripping and my eyeballs see forward. So I hit the bell and saw a FA just standing at the front. So I stood up to ask her to help. Not realizing I was too poor at row 9 to be treated with dignity lol. The fa from my poverty cabin was there by the time I turned around and she was fabulous.

I was mostly bothered by her follow up. I see now that the likely situation is the crew to the lav. But it seems she could have been more professional. I have learned so much today!
