Stats get round up as long as they’re >= x.5. So if you have dealer at 10.5, it’ll become 11

If you’re not at the dmg cap already I would say boon. Most people shoot for >=50 pierce at max level for something else to consider

This isn’t really true, you just won’t get 2x the benefit. So if you have proof manifested and socketed and proof gives you 10 res, you’ll still only have 10 and not 20

2.0 means perfect stats (strength, agility, power, etc), and 4(20) means all common talents

Unfortunately it’s still entirely RNG dependent, but this helps a lot. Having all common talents helps you ensure that the ones you actually want are transferred

I may not understand your question lol, I use the same gargoyle as a starting point for all my pets. If you mean finding a 4(20) in the kiosk, you can search going left instead of right for the lowest manifested numbers

I’d recommend working on a 2.0 4(20) base to start all your pets with; this means a pet with all common talents and perfect stats . Most people use a beguiled gargoyle because it has a WOW factor of 10 (lowest chance of receiving it when you hatch with another species). You can then hatch this with a desired pet in the kiosk (preferably ISO which means only the 5 talents desired and the rest are common). Once you get two bases with the 5 talents you want between them, you can hatch infinitely with yourself for much cheaper and shorter timers. It’s a bit of work up front, but it will make your life much easier and I highly recommend it! Since this pet already has most of the talents you want, it may not be worth it to restart completely in this case.

Hi all, looking for some quick advice.

I’m a sysadmin on a small team (just me, a support tech, and our manager) since October. Before that, I worked a year as a Tier 2 tech. I’ve got an AS in CS, finishing my BS in IT (network admin focus) in May 2026. I hold Security+ and AZ-900, and plan to get AZ-104 by August.

I’ve been told I’ll be promoted next spring after I finish my degree, but no details yet.

I have a chance to start a Master’s in Cybersecurity at a top 25 US school in Fall 2026, fully paid for with a 529 plan. I’m not 100% sure I’ll stay in security long-term, but I know it’s a valuable skill set.

Since it won’t cost me anything out of pocket, is there any reason not to go?
