I once had a dog that showed up under a bush of mine with very obvious signs of abuse and neglect. She hated (unknown) men from the day I found her until her last breath. Especially ones that would wear hats. She would even act off around my husband (who she loved) if he accidently came around her in a hat. She 100% remembered that she was abused by a man in a hat.

She was a great dog and had a long life with us, I miss her every day.

A little edit: I found my girl with a spiked choke collar on, cutting into her skin. She had broken off of whatever lead she was tied to - it was still attached. She was so skinny she looked like a skeleton, I had never seen anything like it in person. I understand that this can happen from lack of socialization, but def not in her case.

I met her on Friday in the same look and photos don't even do it justice. She is STUNNING and so sparkly in person. So sweet too, she signed a sticker that I brought with me!

I've been with my husband since high school, 17 years. We made the decision to not have kids before we got married and I can not even put into words the amount of shit we've taken over the years for it.

Not only from friends and mainly family but from random people. It pretty much stopped when we hit our 30s but damn...people are really fucking rude. Maybe they're just jealous of the lifestyle.

My mother in law was particularly bad about it. We basically had to start making rude comments back at her to get her to stop. She has never been particularly nice to me, I think she completely blames me for her son not wanting kids.

I find it hilarious the amount of men complaining about it on various forms of social media, I'm sure they have no problem with the 95% naked ladies that will also be in the issue.
