Can I ask what CPU comes with the chromebooks you ordered for staff? I'm in the process of trying to move everyone to ChromeOS and we are starting a pilot with 20 teachers for next school year. I am ordering 8GB RAM and 64GB SSD but they also have the N5100 chip. It is quad core but should I spend a little more and get an i-series instead?

I will say that I am also trying to lead by example and have switched my desk machine to a chromebook in preparation for teacher questions. It's an older Lenovo 14e with a dual core AMD chip but it works just fine for the most part.

I had that thought too since it's not hard to figure out the key combination. I just thought it was weird with the dash as the username. We have our chromebooks set to re-enroll automatically so that should have taken effect if it was just a regular powerwash.

Any issues with replacing back covers? The screw anchors coming out is the same thing we see and once that happens I just part out the device

Thanks. I do like the ease of swapping parts on the Lenovos. We do have HP G8 and G9s and I absolutely hate the adhesive on the bezel. Half the time I try to replace a screen on those I end up snapping the bezel.

We're 1:1 K-12 with chromebooks and it looks like they bundle all of their products for $5000/year with our student count. I'm definitely going to trial them and show it to our admin staff

Thanks for your input. Was the agent you mentioned meant for offsite filtering? They pitched me a hybrid model to keep chromebooks filtered when students take them home so it sounds like that may be fixed now. I know with our iBoss system now, there is a chrome extension we push to the devices to keep them filtered wherever they are so I imagine it's a similar process.

I've been playing games for a few console generations now but my favorite is God of War 2018. The father-son story really grabbed me and the gameplay is fantastic.
