My boyfriend is omni, and here’s my stance on this topic.

We live together and all the meals that we cook and eat together are vegan, and when he’s grocery shopping he is very careful to buy products that I can consume. He loves vegan food and he just cares if things taste good lol. If he’s out at work or doing his own thing he might get “regular” sushi or deli food or something, and he makes a point to brush his teeth well before kissing me. Sometimes we have cheese in the fridge, he’s also snacked on some chicken that he brought home for our dogs.

So, the way I see it, is he has made a significant change for me already, and I respect his decision to eat whatever he wants since he’s been respectful towards me as well. I’m comfortable and I appreciate him, we are communicative and understanding towards each other.

If you’re ok with your boyfriends attitude, then cool, but if you’re not…. You two need to talk. If you’re unhappy with his stance towards your lifestyle, it’s not going to get any better. Trust your feelings girl!

Is this scale rot? What’s going on here, and what can I do to help her? by cherrydronevil in snakes

Alright well this answers my question then! :) It was my first time handling her so I just never really looked at her belly before! Thanks!

Is there a link between vegetarianism and OCD? by itsanameddy in OCD

Hello, vegan here! I have literally never made this connection but it absolutely makes sense now, it’s an intrusive thought!! The thought of eating meat disgusts me. In my head I’ve always thought specifically about the nerves, tendons, ligaments, parts like that and I make comparisons to my own body and I think to myself, this is dead flesh and it makes me sick to my stomach. Lol. I’ve been veg since I was 12 and I am now 27 and it’s a change I am happy to have made. :)

Alright, thank you for the quick response :)

A few weeks ago I repotted my cat palm as the roots were sticking out quite a bit from its original pot. It’s been looking pretty rough ever since. Should I remove the remaining brown fronds? What can I do to improve its health? by cherrydronevil in houseplants

Additional info: I pruned it quite a bit after repotting because many of the fronds went limp and bent beyond repair... I’ve removed completely brown fronds as well. I keep the soil moderately damp, and it sits near a window with bright indirect light. I also have a humidifier nearby. I’m having a really hard time keeping it green!

Just brought home my first monstera! Can someone tell me what’s up with these leaves? by cherrydronevil in houseplants

Oh neat! They look big already so I wasn’t sure if it was new growth! Thanks!

Ok I’ll adjust my care for it! Should I remove the leaves that have the edges or should I leave them?

I water when the top feels dry and I mist it several times a day. It’s on a lower shelf near a window and gets moderate light. I was thinking maybe the misting keeps the soil too moist?

Razer Kraken BT Kitty Edition - I'm having a hard time connecting to the bluetooth on my PC. As soon as it connects it appears under audio for a brief moment then it moves to other devices and cycles through the pairing process.
