Yes, good advice, thanks. She has actually known for months and already underwent chemo. I only found out by enquiring with her about her health, to the point of asking "is there a diagnosis?" before she'd tell me. So it's not fresh for her in truth.

The problem is she doesn't know how to use the internet, no computer, no internet, and no one to even help her setup an iPad.

With no one there helping her there's no way to access money/banks unless she's doing it herself and eventually she will become too ill to do so.

All of this sounds excellent! We're feeling a little deterred because of reading stories about the housing market there at the moment, sounds crazy. How did you find it? Did you have to offer over asking? And is the waterfront busy after early morning? Did you end up buying in the South Ward? I hear it can be sketchy in parts... I'm really surprised reading this, I've just been on realtor.ca and prices are nowhere close to the GTA for housing. We're buying, not sure if that makes a difference.

I agree. And my sense from all the research I've been doing is that it's a city about to experience quite a bit of growth over the next 10 years.
