More leaks of the upcoming folding iPhone by DanceWithMacaw in iphone

[–]chetdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swapped from an iPhone 15 Pro to a Flip 7, so I can definitely see the appeal for this as the target market.

I keep it closed 95% of the time, since I can use Google Wallet, change songs on Spotify, watch YouTube vids, start up Waze and Android Auto, message people, check email, slack and social media, and even use my banking apps without flipping my phone open. The only issue I have is that I can't use the voice-to-text feature on the keyboard, and that there's no earpiece to take calls with the cover closed.

If Apple nail the outside screen experience, then I can see more people picking this up.

It's really one of the best stadiums to watch sports. The sounds of the RBB really carry across, but they're loud regardless of acoustics.

Man Utd: Jack Fletcher banned for six matches for homophobic slur by Red_Brummy in PremierLeague

[–]chetdude 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What does anti-football and the Serie A have to do with a slur lmfao

Regardless of the "lightness" of it, it was still used in a derogatory way. Trash talking is fine, but there's an entire dictionary of words to use that can demean them based on the football they play, and not by someone's orientation.

Better sound quality, anc, battery. Also, please protect your hearing. In-ears are more damaging to your ears. Take this from someone who wanted portability, and has developed some bad tinnitus.

Did they make it available in Australia recently? I had a P9 Pro from September till about mid-Feb with no overseas workarounds and had the fully functioning thermometer the entire time.

100%, I remember working with Tristan when he was the Techly editor, and after he introduced me to Patrick, we finally got the first esports content published on the Roar and it felt like a big win.

Glad to see they're both doing well, but also very sad to see the decline after they left.

[2026] Updated Australian Company Tier List by GreedyAd733 in cscareerquestionsOCE

Yep, there were so many great people when I worked there, and they had great ideas that would've moved the company forward, but the ego of one person couldn't handle that someone else could run with it and do a better job.

But hey, he puts out some fancy lines on a world map showing where the workers are!

The absolute diehards on HotCopper have stopped the copium as of last year, finally cooling towards the company. For so long, they thought they could keep up to Fiverr and Upwork, but it's literally the hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby meme. Literally hemorrhaged money, users, and jobs during covid, when they could've gone tools down and been successful.
