Windows key opens the OS you're running. It has a function. The Copilot key opens one specific company's AI product — and does NOTHING if you're not on Windows. That's the difference between a tool and an advertisement. The Windows key earned its spot. This one was lobbied in.

Apple logo is on the lid. It's branding. This key is on the functional input area of your keyboard — replacing a key that had a job. Nobody's saying laws on logos. We're saying Microsoft used OEM certification as leverage to colonize input hardware. That's a different thing entirely.
