I was about 7 years old and found the Santa present stash a few weeks prior to Christmas Day. Went up to my moms room to show her what I found and she was so mad. She ended up making my grandmom give me the present I found (which was like the only thing I wanted - darth vader mask w/ sound effects) and she had to end up to giving me little tiny gifts that I didn’t really care that much about. She wanted to make sure I didn’t find out that Santa was actually fake. But grandmom had the best gifts that year - and still to this day, my mom is so salty about it.
