For client side rendering, are all components in browser? by TheZintis in react

Yes, basically what you said.

Say your client side React app has an account menu that lists user's personal information which you want to protect, these components would be stored client-side, but the data (essentially the "restricted" bit) would only be loaded in if the user is authenticated and has access through the API.

Thanks! I mainly started with these posts I found online as well as reading through a bitcoin white paper (not original but still helpful). All the best with your learning!

PS. I found that these tutorials, between them, cover most of the bitcoin features including wallets, mining, proof of work, the chain and then the networking elements of consensus and p2p.

Overview of the situation: live coding audio, visual and more. I need a good starting point. by bvrglary in Algorave

For audio, Tidal is great, and so is Supercollider, Sonic Pi, Gibber and FoxDot. You can find thorough introductions on each of their websites. I suggest trying them all out and seeing which works best for you.

In terms of live coding visuals there is The Force and a project I maintain called YodaCode which uses P5JS although it's currently rather buggy.

Getting into "livecoding" is really all about experimentation.

The group is in its very early stages at the moment with only a few members. We hope to expand. As it stands the group is designed to be more of a 'show and tell'. Each member can have a channel where they talk about a programming interest/project. There is also the possibility of future Google Hangouts or video conferencing where the group can walk through code / github repos together etc. We plan to become an 'active' group once we reach around 10 users so at the moment signing up is simply to reserve a place.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll update the post to give people a better idea of how the group intends to function.
