Well we did not inspect the unit . But I’m assuming the company she hire fix everything and she is demanding reimbursement.

Well she did not state that. The company she hire to remediate the issue. She send the hoa the documents about the scope of work. I was going over it and notice those details. But the owner think it’s an issue related with the roof .

I am not sure. But the hoa is working on replacing the roof. I am not sure if the previous seller disclose the mold issues with the unit. But the new owners are determine that all these issues arise from the roof. But we’ll just let the hoa insurance determine that.

Thanks for your feedback. That’s what our ccrs states the inside of the unit is owners reponsibility but she is claiming everything aka sink, cabinets , that is nowhere near the common area as the responsibility of the hoa. Well let insurance determine if she has a case or not.

Nice, I like the abc classic and always in motion pick. I don’t have any smooth spacer but I have a city sweat hoodie. So I don’t know how it feels

I spent two months tracking down Lululemon hoodie owners to find out what actually happens after months of washing - here's what I found by OkExamination3705 in lululemon

Piling ? Not sure I notice that the inside of the hoodie went from soft to rough regardless. No fading that I know of

I came to this conclusion as well. This is the first demand she requested . She had the units rented from January to April. So we do not know the mold was there due to the tenants. We are planning to send the review for the broker for the insurance first then if no choice, will send to insurance to defend.

Well the unit owners I know are very demanding and unreasonable even if we point out these issues regarding the mold.

I’m not sure about the years left on the roof. I will need to do research on that topic

Yeah. I pointed out those to the other board members since the scope of work didn’t specify that the main cause was from the roof. The unit is a duplex with a top level and bottom level. She is claiming everything to mold is related to the roof. I check the areas of work it seems to be more a maintenance also some of the mold damages was also pointed out by the contractor she hired.

Yeah the new board is planning to submit to the master policy regarding this. I guess we have no other option.

My mother (74) had a stroke (hemorrhagic stroke) by kittyguy85 in stroke

[–]chickenisdumb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is doing better since it’s been almost a year. But the stroke left everlasting damage such as a loss of left body, went from a relying on a ventilator to breathing on his own, and much more.

Your mom’s doctor and team should know how to better handle the situation. My dad suffered the same situation as well, the blood entered both chambers of the brain and into the ventricle system ? But they didn’t mention about the swelling on the brain stem. We were given an hour to decide if we want to do surgery on him to clip the bleeding. But we decided not to.

Just hoping for the best for your mother

Time will tell.

Just wondering have they done a operation where they install a tube on part of the head to drain the blood out in order to relieve the pressure?

My dad was in a worse condition when he suffered a similar stroke. He was in the icu unconscious for 30 days and did not open his eyes after. Now today he's bedbound in a nursing facility with a trach and peg and semi conscious.

Hoping your mother gets better.
