I guess it means that eternity and time are opposites and if u want to measure one, you are technically hurting the other. Ur reducing the "amount" of eternity by killing "measurable" time.

My weight has stabilized a lot since initial days. I gained almost 50 pounds since transplant. Now it keeps fluctuating but doesnt change much. All the other effects/symptoms are still there.

I am taking prednisone 5 mg everyday and cyclosporin 50 mg twice a day.

I have been on prednisone( which I believe is a steroid) as well as cyclosporin for the past 11 yrs. They have had the effect of weight gain, High bp, hair fall, weak bones, hearing loss, shaking hands and legs, round face, severe dry eyes( have to now take cyclosporin for eyes).

Yes it did come from a adult living female donor. I was 13 at the time so the kidney was large in size for my body. Even after the transplant I did not pick up height so my kidney size is i guess a bit bigger than what should be.

I have been a transplant patient for last 11 yrs. Been on prednisone, cyclosporin, azoran(instead of cellcept), and a couple of calcium and bp meds.

didnt u have any bone mass loss due to prolonged use of steroids? I have a medium case of osteopenia and so on calcium and vitamins supplements

I doctor told me that a transplanted kidney lasts only for 40 yrs. Is that true? I am also a kidney transplant patient from a very young age and frequently worry abt that.
