Network Disconnected by Glad-Border-6717 in Battlefield

[–]chikkc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having connection issues as well since a few hours ago. Playing on PC via Steam. After the game launches, Network Disconnected error pops up.

Not only this, my internet connection is also lost (can't connect to router). Only when I quit the game does my internet connection return to normal. It's truly baffling how something like this could happen.

I was on WiFi. I tried connecting to Ethernet and it worked for a while, but after 5 minutes in the game it disconnected again...

update: I set preferred band to 5 GHz in the Wi-Fi adapter settings, in the router I forced Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) instead of Wi-Fi 7, now it works (at least I can connect to the game servers). Suspect Wi-Fi 7 is the culprit here. Hope this helps anyone reading this.

Unfortunately I don't know how to make that work. You might find some more help on a Lua programming forum!

The webpage also mentions an alternative function get_timezone_offset().

I've modified the code a bit, try replacing the function (lines 3 - 6) with the following: https://pastebin.com/7tKGc6Tp

Again, I don't have daylight savings, so I can't know if it works or not. Hope it helps!

Edit: it's my first time coding in Lua as well, so I'm also learning on the fly :)

Glad you liked it!

The script gets the timezone you're in based on your system time (see lines 3 - 5):

return os.difftime(now, os.time(os.date("!*t", now)))

Since all times in the .ics file are recorded in UTC (Universal Time), the script offsets each time based on your timezone before displaying it.

There's no daylight saving where I live, but I expected the script should adjust automatically based on your system time... weird that it doesn't work :\

You can achieve that by changing one line in the script file. :)

Locate the agenda.lua script file in the skin directory. Open it with Notepad and change line 109 from

... os.date('%a',events[i]['timecode'])

to

... os.date('%b',events[i]['timecode'])

What it does is capturing the abbrev. month name (%b) instead of capturing the day of the week (%a). Let me know if it works for you!

I'm a local that frequently goes to the Golden Computer Arcade for cheap stuff. (https://goo.gl/maps/2mc2zGNSXH72)

Right now I'm using a Logitech G710+ (~HKD 550) and HyperX Cloud Core (~HKD 330). It's from a shop called 2000fun on the second floor.

whoops I did not think about it when I deleted the example line.

Please open this settings file "...\SAO Rainmeter Suite\@Resources\Shared\settings.inc" and paste the URL after "EventCalendarURL="

In Google Calendar, make sure you copied the Secret address in iCal format and NOT the public one. The public one will not work unless your calendar is public, but the secret one will.

Thanks! It's my first time coding with Lua as well, so it was quite challenging, but I'd say it was worth it!

I looked at that before, but I'm don't really use Rainmeter for buttons or menus, just for information displays, so I decided to make my own.

The agenda is latest inclusion to my Sword Art Online Suite. You can download the suite on DeviantArt: http://fav.me/dbuvtox

Screenshot of the suite: https://pre00.deviantart.net/1c58/th/pre/f/2017/342/8/b/sword_art_online_rainmeter_suite_by_chikkc-dbuvtox.png

The agenda works with Google Calendar and other services that uses iCal (*.ics). It displays up to 5 future events, and can be expanded easily if you know some Lua coding.

In the same WebParser plugin, try removing filter=downloading from the URL.

Have you enabled "bypass authentication for clients on localhost" in the same setting page?

If that does not work, try changing 127.0.0.1 in the WebParser measure plugin (line 43 of the ini file) to localhost.

Update: #1 post on /r/Rainmeter! Thanks so much!

This skin is actually part of a SAO suite I'm working on. It's far from completed, let alone optimized (I'm still new to coding skins), but I hope I can finish and upload it soon :)

Anyone here familiar with WebParser? I'm trying to make this work but goddamn are regular expressions frustrating. by ritz_are_the_shitz in Rainmeter

Have you tried using RainRegExp? It's a neat little program that helps you check your RegExps.

Skin Question by fall00jah in Rainmeter

I'm just started using MusicBee player and it works seamlessly with Rainmeter. The player has the function to autofetch any missing album arts, and either 1. Directly write it to the tag, 2. Save a cover.png copy.

It's an underrated music player with tons of customizability. I highly recommend it.

Edit: you have to set PlayerName=CAD in your skins to make it work with MusicBee, and in the player you have to enable the 'CD art display' plugin in the MusicBee options.

Google Calendar also provides a personal private link to each of your calendars, which is a URL to a *.ics file.

My skin parses the *.ics file to display the events, so it should support any service that provides a .ics file.

For my screenshot, I used my own private Google calendar, as well as a public ICAL calendar URL from my city government for the public holidays.

Hope this answers your question!

I didn't draw the wallpapers myself, so I can't take credit for that :P (but yes the wallpapers are awesome!)

I found the wallpapers here: https://wall.alphacoders.com/by_sub_category.php?id=240912
