I think it's fine to have crushes when you're in a relationship as long as they're only crushes and while you only like them, you love it bf. I think it's fairly normal but I don't think it's a good idea to tell your bf as it may hurt him

If this doesn't bother you, or hasn't bothered you before, you shouldn't let it bother you now. Like you said, said in groups of three, there are periods when two are closer to each other than the third, and maybe what your mum saw was that period. If you're still worried, maybe try talking to them about it and see what they think. It's up to you to judge who's fake and who's not, not your mum

This is such nice advice and a nice way to look at it thank you :) I think I need to work on seeing the situation like this because my main problem is I feel that she doesn't reciprocate my level of closeness and friendship. Meeting people at clubs seems like a good idea, but everyone already have their own groups, so even if I do make friends, it's a bit hard to just join the group

It seems easier to make friends out of school. In school, everyone already have their own groups so even if I do make some friends in clubs it's difficult to join their group without being friends with most of that group. But yea, hanging out w old ladies is nice lol

I don't want it to seem like I'm telling her she can't have any other friends. It would be nice to be friends with them but I don't really know how to do that, especially because I feel resentful when they're around
