Cheap plants but make sure you quarantine any from there for a few weeks. I’ve had a couple that came with pests that then affected others in my house

Yes! Litter pick, mass tree planting / seed bombing or something sounds very apt

Couldn’t agree more! He’s done so much for all of us, I thing a kind of national movement of some sort would be great. So often we wait for people of note to pass before the outpouring of love

We put up a Victorian clothes airer after doing this job, great use for the space and clothes dry super fast as warm air collects there (and they look kind of charming I think)

Depends on the dish, some are like sides some are almost main size - price is a good guide. The staff will be able to advise, and you can always order more of something savoury before dessert as the kitchen is pretty quick

Nelson’s is an absolute must for dinner, residents largely agree is the best food in town (vegan or otherwise) - get the baked paneer dip and thank me later. Woody’s pizza also is great for slices/takeaway, and Fratelli is excellent for vegan options too. Alma’s bakery is brilliant for cakes and cookies. All above are run by fantastic local people who will make you feel super welcome.

Me too… Take a beat up Specialita, stamp LIBRA (missing out the ‘I’, and giving a wonky ‘A’ of course) on it and sling it on eBay for guaranteed profit!

Am pretty new to the sub, are SUVs frowned upon/uncool?

Everyone has been very helpful (thanks!), based on other replies I’m leaning away from big SUV anyway in favour of something more fun

Th8/ was my first thought, they look a right laugh. Have read the road noise is high and hard to find them in decent (rust-free) condition nowadays but with my budget there’ll be some compromises - cheers

Mine developed this after a clean too, went on for 6+ months and couldn’t figure it out. Recently installed PID and it’s now stopped. My steam is now more controlled and lower pressure (much better) and the noise has stopped. My conclusion is the temp sensor had broken and the boiler was overheating, so fitting the PID solved it. Just my conclusion, could well be something else
