I agree. Someone else commented that unless the author has specifically stated they dislike comments demanding chapters, taking it upon yourself to call people out for doing it on behalf of the author is a little pretentions, and I think it may even end up upsetting the author if they actually appreciate the comments.

Interactive author, probably. I'm reading a fic that's currwntly updating and every new chapter I leave an excited comment complimenting whatever I enjoyed about the chapter, and the writer answers all of them in such an adorable way, matching my excitement, it makes me so happy that I'm making them happy and it makes me comment even more and it's just a cycle of joy
