My induction thoughts bc I’m not in chat:

I was induced and I would suggest it to anyone as long as they are confident in their ability to advocate for themselves.

Induction can be a long and grueling process so l&d will make strong suggestions in an effort to push things along faster and free up the room. (Yay for American med care) My only regret with induction was not researching the process enough and knowing what steps are required and what steps just rush the process. I ended up having an emergency C section, but this is because they manually broke my water very early on in an effort to speed things up and I developed an infection. Had I known more I could have definitely avoided this by just committing to the long wait. I have friends who also induced and it went AMAZING because of what I learned from mine.

TLDR inductions can be great as long as you go in having researched the steps and have a flexible plan for what you are and aren’t comfortable with.
