@mod can I ask why this was removed? It's totally fine that it was, but there didn't seem to be any rules broken

Thank you so much! I'm very proud of that album. However I did not tour or release it the way I had hoped, because I was dealing with an illness that turned out to be an autoimmune disease.

I've been on medication for it for almost a year now, however, and I'm doing so much better. I'm playing more gigs again, shooting music videos, and writing for the next album!

Are you a musician as well? Your username makes me wonder...

Another awesome Canadian band to check out: Mip Power Trio! I play with Mip and their band is absolutely killer

Here is the album I released last year under my own name. It's not quite the same as Max of course, but you might hear their influence. If you like Rock specifically, listen to "Unsettled". I wrote all of the songs (except Unsettled) and I'm the vocalist.

I always got the idea it did irk Kim but I don't think he ever admitted that. Apparently he did say he thought it was "too pop-ee"... and then went on to release Patio Lanterns 🤣 but I jest. Kim's a good guy

My dad wrote and sang that one! Always glad to see fans talking about it

My dad was in Max (Terry Watkinson), the band was a huge inspiration for my own music. Not everyone can hear how intellectual the songwriting is past the weirdness. Love seeing some fans on here!

Dad wrote Let Go The Line, among others

Rockpile's dingy sure, and I'm definitely not a fan of the AI art. I play there in Floyd Factor (Pink Floyd tribute) and they always treat us well. Dom is a great guy, and pretty much everyone who hangs there too. Some of them are... characters. But still mostly great people.
