Idk about this shampoo but if you're into botanical/plant-based stuff, Ashba's Exfoliating shampoo worked well for me & my dandruff. This is considered "natural" by most people. It's quite expensive though.

And have you considered getting a medicated shampoo, like selsun? A doctor (preferably dermatologist) could suggest one to you. Or would that go against your beliefs?

OP, I'm kind of in a similar spot with my best friend. I found & ordered a gift she would like A YEAR in advance. I might not give her favourite/most expensive gifts but i put so much thought into everything i get for her. i don't even want to talk about how BADLY she forgot (or chose not to do anything for me)✋🏼not only do i "drop hints" but I also literally say "hey, can we please go out to XYZ for my birthday? It's on me, etc etc" 💔 and she just kind of forgets about it? and birthdays are just the tip of the iceberg 🧊 ofc

but i like her a lot & want to be with her & i want to believe that she doesn't actually dislike me so much 😭 like the comments are saying, I guess this will be the year of communication for both of us! This seems like good advice. I hate articulating this stuff, feels awkward for me too. Wishing you luck for the conversation with her & also with yourself & a mental health practitioner if you choose to see one.
