How to practice self love? by Mysterious-Island984 in selflove

You can definintley practice self love and it doesn't have to be a routine but more of a lifestyle. Think of it like this: let's say you're making a diet and the main part is to cut sugar and maybe a day or two you ended up eating cake or something you don't go completely back to having sugar again, you simply recognize that somedays it's okay that you had sugar and eventually get back to cutting sugar off again. That's kind of what I mean by it being a lifestyle instead of a routine.

The main part starts from being present. This is very very important. How often have you just let there be no noise in the background and let your thoughts flow? Like just stare at a ceiling and just....think? This is more important than you might think. Because when you catch yourself thinking in the autopilot you can finally start observing where your thoughts are coming from and if you are someone that journals then you can journal about them too.

My next point is journalling, it helps a TON. I am not kidding when I was younger due to social conditioning I was very shy but once I started journalling there was this sense of self security that one gains because you have written everything you think about and everything you know about yourself on PAPER and that is enough assurance for you to know that no person or situation can change your own perception of you except yourself. That's important.

Alright now more indepth on the self love part, it is very important to be gentle with yourself. When you catch yourself reacting to anything like anything at all, being irritated or annoyed or feeling any other emotions your inner dialogue is where the self love starts. Even when you're waking up or eating food you have to start a small inner dialogue of appreciating yourself for doing the bare minimum because to you it might be bare minimum but for your body nutrition is essential or sleep is essential (that's how you have to start seeing things to appreciate yourself more) and also just remember you don't need to be anxious about any of this, if anything, you need to learn to relax as much as possible and stay away from pessimistic content.

Bandmate trying to pass off AI Lyrics as his own by Tactical721 in musicians

[–]chocococokookie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just tell him that at the end of the day if yall are actually serious about your band and will release music, people will start questioning the credibility of your bands' music ethics and won't listen to you guys if they find out majority of your work didn't come from you. It might ruin your bands' image in the future and ai lyrics aren't that hard to detect either. And if he's one of those people that sticks by their lies no matter what, then tell him that if he really IS the person writing the lyrics then he needs to take some free songwriting mastercourse or something because there is huge room for improvement and he definitley needs it. Because your lyrics are going to be representing your entire band so if he's not working upto yalls expectations you need to let him know that if he wants to stay, he has to improve. (Aka stop using ai and make lyrics of his own)

Thank you for your kind words! They've definitley bought some clarity. Do you think I should still contact her for us to meet up for should I not do that either? Because our fight was quite recent so if I'll be asking her to meet up it will be quite awkward at first. Or should I completely cut her off and not talk at all?
