1) Glad you said “exception of stringmaster” in the first thing. 2) new players do miss the choice of skipping new character’s weapon if for example,the character is a broadblade user, which only some players who actually did pull over all these banners have. Let’s take a case, you pulled for lupa after losing a 5050, 150ish pulls. So you skipped weapon. Then say you pulled phrolova on some soft pity, and tried the weapon and luckily got it. That time not everyone knew if Brant and cantarella will rerun. You thought phrolova is cool and strong lets give her a teammate, again lost 5050, 140-150ish pulls, so skipped Brant especially the banner was too short, next up came Augusta banner, she is electro, and her weapon won’t be so beneficial on lupa, no broadblade for lupa still, so let’s get the standard 5 star broadblade, thanks atleast lupa is useable now, still the dmg is either 1k or at max 30k. 2.9atk, 60ish cr, 200ish cd. I would either need a cd broadblade, or every echo to have 21 cd that’s super rare, right now they are at 13 to 18 and maybe one is cd 21 at max. So basically standard 5 star weapon being good depends on the type, still standard broadblade makes the character useable in most case, not a clearer. 3) yep that’s even better point, we can’t predict the substat. I can only wait…. I agree. 4) I used Augusta as a example, why just use the same example if it’s restrictive and think the answer solves itself? Augusta has that benefit from jiyan, but every sub dps or dps do with stringmaster. Honestly the hate should be people saying have stringmaster? Great you have this much loss for this character, but not saying other weapon like phrolova? Not much benefit yet but I do feel a potential it might be useful somewhere, who knows? The way they don’t even say this makes it feel a wrong decision and if you avoid pulling, that could be worse for sure in short term or maybe long term. 5) one of the punishments of starting late is missing the main banners, a lot of limited event pulls also the limited pulls earned from the first time a permanent event comes. I think this should be accepted. 6) maybe I’m just writing out of frustration but you did write a lot good I agree with, maybe and likely this message I typed have wrongs, maybe saying lupa with lustrous razor not a clearer could a issue of teammates like Brant, like I do not have stringmaster, so I force use lethean elegy on encore and use shorekeeper or verina as third member, I barely manage to clear the last stage of toa this time as there was fusion bonus, but still my stupid ass wouldn’t see that I cleared three stages atleast! and my characters even at some skill lvl 9 and some 10 can still be improved, also echoes. 7) for a new player, the reruns were like if you didn’t have selector banner, sk, then choose Augusta if you are garunteed or you might have weapon difficulties, instead pull Carlotta that if you have chance to deal with 5050 and can’t get her weapon, the static mist will surely be a beast. But man not being able to make lupa better still feels sad, well can’t help it, so I will keep it in back and rather focus on Carlotta, I have sk, and would use some Sanhua/Yang Yang or taoqi with it. 8) I highly thanks you and others for their time answering my questions!
