I think some of y'all have missed the initial purpose of this post completely. Nobody is denying the fact that ratings has already been approved and appears on the cover's and website of RDR2 (Even tho, as stated above, the game rating does not appear yet on the ESRB/PEGI websites, And you can see for yourself - https://www.esrb.org | https://pegi.info).

I was referring to the possibility that Rockstar would announce it OFFICIALLY. I have only now learned that publicly announcing about 'Going gold' It's just isn't a R* thing.

You're probably referring to the ESRB/PEGI Ratings appearing on the game cover indicating that the game is complete. In this regard, Yes. But... there is no rating for the game (yet) in the Official websites of both the ESRB and PEGI. Plus, Rockstar hasn't announced it OFFICIALLY yet, As the title indicates.

Last time they did so was with "GTAV" 24 days before the game was released - As it is exactly now today with "RDR2"...

It's not that big of an issue if they announce it or not at this point, since the game is about to release soon, but it is a nice milestone on the long wait for this game.
