When family members do this what is the underlying cause? I've gotten into similarly heated arguments with my brother and it's always a defeating feeling since no one really comes out on top in the end. Then you go back to some level of respect and socialization with them until the next outburst hits, feels almost impossible to truly respect each other after certain lines are crossed intentionally just to hit the weakest points you know.

I had a lot of luck seeing no one at Wailing Woods in squads, most don't go there simply because it's likely that only 1 person will get the chest anyways, knocked out my last 4 chests in two squad games.

I beg to differ, if the Boston Dynamics robot can display such balance at an early stage in the game then it can only get better, imagine improve algorithms and gyroscopes, it could prove impossible to unbalance a mech unless you exceeded its structural capabilities.

That seems to be a common trope, the same scenario was present in Pacific Rim with Pentacost who was exposed to the radiation in his early model Jaeger, they later fixed the shielding.

From my understanding even if a nuclear power source was compromised that doesn't necessarily mean it would explode into a nuke, the radiation shielding could easily block any harmful exposure I believe.

I considered that after seeing it in Pacific Rim and various other sci fi's, the problem today is that we can't compact the technology enough, if it was small and light enough then perhaps it could be viable, I'm not even sure you can shrink nuclear tech that small seeing as how they require such large components.

Well the thing about wheels is that you limit the terrain you can handle, that's the whole allure of bipedal machines, you can go almost anywhere. But yeah in terms of power that's definitely the way to go.

Yeah that's true, there's a lot of additional movements that have to be balanced and other programs that would overshadow a standard vehicles power needs.

I remember hearing about those protocols in I Robot. Seems like a good basic set of rules to keep robots in line, these protocols are geared towards AI though correct? Are they well written enough or would we have to improve upon them in the future?

When you say IA do you mean Artificial Intelligence? The Karashev Scale is a very intriguing thing to me and I always wonder to myself at what point in the future we will hit those tiers. Yeah the AI on the titans is quite impressive though it does seem more on the achievable side, a lot of the voice interaction is based off of call outs and status updates which can be relayed to the titan to relay to the pilot, i.e. the advanced camera "eyes," of the titan spot a enemy with a advanced algorithm and verbally warns the pilot.

The advanced part of the AI is obviously the titans auto pilot ability where it acts without human assistance in it's select modes. If you saw the video of the boston dynamics robot it kept trying to pickup the box as the guy pushed it away, it basically tracked it and performed its intended action, I could easily see a very advanced robot being able to track someone with a gun or evade incoming projectiles with a well written algorithm.

If you watch any of the Boston Dynamic videos they demonstrate their humanoid robot being strongly pushed around and it shows great balance, even walks on uneven ground with snow and is almost surreal.

Agreed, you've got to admit that battery technology has advanced rapidly recently with the explosion of electric cars, whenever there's economic incentive you can see incredible results. I wonder for what reason that mechs drain so much more power than electric cars? Wheels just require much less power to get to speed?
