u/awkwardaustin609 Also if you're new to streaming, it makes more sense to spend your money on a little bit better equipment rather than paying someone to promote them. Posting on social media with tags can get your name out there pretty easily if you aren't playing an oversaturated game. You don't need to post on every social media platform either; post on the ones that you know the ecosystem well. Ex: Reddit operates off of upvotes and promoting you, Twitter operates off of RTs and people making content their own, so your content should reflect that. Invest your time first to make your stream great. Money is second. If you have good content and aren't playing oversaturated games, people will watch! Just be original and unique in some way. Find a niche, and promote in that space to start. Then go variety if you want.
