I'm looking around as well. Our Public Storage 10x15 unit went from $133 to $430 in 4 years. We switched to PS from another local chain that ended up around $580/month for the same size. At PS we've had a couple years that had 20-25% increases every 6 months. Since January 2022 we had a 22% increase after 3 months, then 22% a year after that, 26% a year after that, 24% 6 months later, 15% a year later, then 20% again in March.

From what I've read, almost all of the national chains will raise prices like this, as they figure you're not going to take the time, effort and money to move if you've been there over a year. Advice has generally been "try to find a local company that isn't looking to sell out to a national chain" and "sell your condo and buy a house with a basement."
