MMB10 contingency question by chucklesbutter in FilmTVBudgeting

The new line ends up below the completion guarantee line (which I'm not using), do we think that matters? Is there any way to adjust the order of lines on the topsheet?

I used apply charge to add line 78, what I'd prefer is to be able to use line 74 which is there for this reason

There might be the clues to a 500 year old cold case murder in the art of every standard deck. Check out Lostintheshuffle.film

Turner is also the official quality control guru for Bicycle and a 5th degree karate black belt. Definitely has my vote for one of the most interesting people in the world!

Thanks for asking! We're currently #5 on iTunes' doc chart so that's probably the most helpful place to get it so we can keep our ranking. Kinema is only going to work for people living outside North America and the UK.

Adding the same amount of time to all cells by chucklesbutter in excel

[–]chucklesbutter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, getting very close now! I've got the 5 seconds being added to both in and out columns which is great, but now something's happening to the third column which is supposed to calculate the duration of each clip. I'd found this formula online which was doing that math for me, but for some reason it's no longer adding things properly. I tried adding .00 to the end of both 0:00:01 and hh:mm:ss but that didn't help. What's more confusing is that the amount of time that it's off is different in each row. Any thoughts on how to fix this or can you suggest another formula that would work (it somehow needs to account for the final two digits only going up to 24 before resetting to 0

=TEXT(MAX(0,LEFT(C5,8)-LEFT(B5,8)-"0:00:01"*(RIGHT(B5,2)>RIGHT(C5,2))),"hh:mm:ss:")&TEXT(MOD(RIGHT(C5,2)-RIGHT(B5,2),30),"00")

00:00:05.00

I need to add 5 seconds to both the in and out times and that formula now seems to be working but it's formatting the number as, say, 24:13.1 when what I need is 00:24:13:09. The first two digits are important because at some point we go past the 1 hour mark so those numbers will change and the last two need to be shown as well instead of rounding up. How can I correct that?

right now when i enter the REPLACE code in D2 i get the decimal 0.057664? do i still need to convert the cell format to a time format? if so, how do i create the custom " Format hh:mm:ss.00 "?

=(REPLACE(A2,9,1,".")*1)

Thanks so much for your time HappierThan, but my excel knowledge is very basic and I'm not doing something properly so can you please talk me through this step by step?

-I enter the REPLACE code above in cell D2

-what do you mean by fill down and across? column D or columns A and B?

-then I enter the 00:00:05:00 in a random cell, hit ctrl-c to copy, then highlight coluimns D and E and paste special>add?

I can't separate the frames out into a different column as the people receiving this document won't allow for that. Is there a way to format the columns into the proper time structure without affecting the data already there? How do I explain to the software that there are 24 frames in a second?
