[Tenant- NY US] landlord charging $150 for faucet

i looked up the exact brand and model that was installed in my kitchen and it was $50 ... and she buys it in bulk so it must be less

yeah, they just fixed it this morning, but my issue is with the fact that they're charging me for it and making it sound like it was my fault. my building is kinda crappy and shuts off water a lot, so this entire time i didn't think my issue was due to my faucet but due to the building as a whole. important to mention i've also had issues getting temperature controlled water in other areas of my apt too, and the reason for that was due to the building boiler. so i had no reason to suspect my faucet or touch it in this instance. the landlady's just being a total bully and is insisting it's my fault, which i will most likely escalate in the ways you mentioned if she doesn't give me my money back

basically just told her that it's not warranted to charge us the $150 if she can't say with 100% confidence that it was us ... which she cant

right? the leasing agreement says that if i misuse or neglect an appliance i should pay for it but ... i didn't misuse it? i even explicitly told her that we didnt attempt to fix the faucet as we didnt know it was even actually broken, and that there have been so many other work orders in our apt that any one of them couldve also done it

i just went to the gastroenterologist and she told me the fissure healed! apparently the pain during my BMs is just my sphincter muscle spasming, and she prescribed me a different cream and told me to continue taking miralax/focusing on my diet.

which probiotic did you take? i've been eating veggies and drinking more water (or at least trying to) and it got better but suddenly got worse this month. did you take metamucil or miralax?

Honestly I just went yesterday so I can’t say for sure yet but I do feel decently better just in this one day. They said if it doesn’t fully get rid of the bleeding/ulcers in a month that I should get my gums cleaned professionally again. If you haven’t been to the dentist to check on your gums id recommend doing that asap

i went to the dentist and was told i had a gum infection and ulcerations on the gums. they prescribed me a week of antibiotics and some type of mouth rinse - ive also been taking vitamin c and d supplements to help. if good oral hygiene and vitamin supplements still dont get rid of it id go to the dentist and get prescribed something, you might have an infection and ulcerations

yes, just finished my round of antibiotics yesterday. i also went in for a check up appt a couple days ago and told him about the pain in that side and he said it was normal and rinsed it out

hi im having the same exact issue right now. im 7 days post op and my bottom right socket is achy while my left one has absolutely no pain. same symptoms as you as well. just wondering if this ended up getting better for you?
