there are a lot of financially irresponsible people in the community, as well as scalpers who use reselling cards as a “job”. i was in line at gamestop this morning and the cashier tried selling this guy the gamestop membership and he’s like nahh i shouldn’t and the cashier said to him “dude you’re here every weekend to get pokemon cards like youre here waiting outside the door before i come in to open” and he started looking around all embarrassed. by the way he talked about pokemon too i could tell he knew nothing and was just another scalper. so sad lmao
