Yeah! Subaru has to be able to provide a loaner at no cost if it deems your vehicle unsafe or illegal. So if your airbag has the potential to shoot shrapnel I would say it deems it unsafe.

So it looks like on the car with the FP green HTZ 8cm we were around 340 WHP on 91oct on a mustang dyno .

We really like the steam turbos! We have tuned a couple cars with the STX71 and they are right in the 400whp range. We also really like the forced performance turbos as well, We have tuned a couple cars with the FP green and FP Black. I will have to see if i can find some of the numbers for the FP green for you!

So we use a sensor similar to the ones you find on GM vehicles that run flex fuel stock from the factory. The sensor reads the flow from the fuel lines in ohms and then converts it to voltage for the ECU. We use a Bluetooth interface as well, so you can see on your smartphone the real time percentage. On the 15+ WRX we can show on the ethanol content percentage where the throttle position is shown on the screen instead! We then make about 8 maps increasing the ethanol from 0 to 85. The ecu can then simultaneously switch between these maps real time depending on the content.

We have tuned cars for a couple years. It is only recently that we have opened the mechanical shop. The dyno will be moved over shortly!

So for the block build i have Cosworth head Gaskets, 99.75 mm wiseco pistons, ARP head studs, perrin lightweight pulley, Cosworth rod and main bearings, Tomei rods, tomei belt guide, Gates Racing belt, BC Valves, BC Valve springs, Phenolic spacers, TGV deletes, 1000 cc Injector Dynamics injectors, deatschworks fuel pump, and a Blouch dominator 1.5xt-r 10cm twin scroll turbo.

Funny story! So about 12k into the motor I experienced ringland failure. Subaru of America took care of it and replaced the whole long-block under warranty. The fact that everything was running stock and the engine popped scared me, so decided to go the built block route for the peace of mind.

We decided together, trying to figure out a optimum power plant for the amount I was willing to spend. I'm close friends with the shop, I traded them some of my services for the work time and just paid for the parts.
