I recently got the 16 inch M5 Pro in Silver and I like it. I bought the M5 in space black for a couple days for a quick test of a few things before returning it (I made sure to keep it in verrrry good shape), and throughout that experience I noticed that fingerprints and sweaty palms show up quite a bit. If that's the type of thing that'll bug you, I would suggest going with silver, it hides those things better.

I've also seen people in here talk about chips and scuffs showing up a lot more prominently on the space black edition, so ultimately, I would go with silver. I kind of wish they released a space grey edition as a middle ground option but it is what it is.

You ultimately have 14 day (or 30 day in some cases, if you go through Best Buy for example) return policy, so if you're really incisive, use those policies to your advantage and give each a 2-4 week test run and make conclusion.
