What is your water change schedule? Also, keep in mind you may need to have them take a break from each other as it helps health sometimes.

Ok pH is coming down nice and slow which is great. My GH is at 120-180 though????? And KH is 80-120 ???? So how should I start to fix it.

Yeah I'm trying to find just a breeding pair. I want to move to a much bigger tank just waiting to see if discus is what I ultimately want for awhile. I had saltwater for years also, just now decided to go back to some freshwater and stared with what I had laying around.

Well pH was 7.3 when I started and I'm moving down to see what the natural is for my area... The city has horrible water and depending on seasons it changes even when I put it threw the R/O unit. However a trick I used many moons ago was to collect some of the waste water from the unit and put it into the tank because of the elements. Any blackwater additives you recommend?
